Gaelic football comes to Christchurch on Saturday when Canterbury play Wellington at Sheldon Park at 2.30pm.
The match for the Lawton-O'Carroll Cup follows a 17-15 victory for Canterbury in the capital earlier this month.
The Canterbury team of mainly Irish players includes John Golden, here on a two-year working holiday, who played for Kerry, one of the top Irish teams.
Local MP Clayton Cosgrove will throw out the ball to start the match.
Gaelic football is a 15-aside game from which Aussie rules developed, and local enthusiasts are considering a possibility of affiliating to ? appropriately ? the Belfast rugby club to develop their sport in Christchurch, says spokesman Mal Carroll.
