Mehrts pads up for a good cause

He can outthink the world's best rugby players, match Navratilova and Seles on the tennis court, and walk on water.

So what else is there left for Andrew Mehrtens to do? May be to show that whatever Jeff Wilson can do, he can do better, Mehrts will try his hand at cricket on Sunday in the annual Crusaders v Invitation 11 cystic fibrosis fundraiser at Hagley Oval.

And Mehrts being Mehrts, he was out getting a bit of sly practice this week before the big game ? with some help from one of the opposition, Canterbury Flames netballer Vilimaina Davu.
