It's back to the past for surfers tomorrow.

The single fin surfing classic has had surfies rummaging out their old boards from the 60s and 70s.

As well as fun surfers, the contest has drawn new South Island open and senior champions Manu and Tony Schafer and top female junior Daisy Thomas.

The venue will depend on conditions.
