Three Christchurch ice speed skaters have been selected for the world short track championships in Beijing starting next Friday.

Mark Jackson, Matt Fuller, and Francesca Jackson are ranked 20th, 24th, and 26th respectively in the world.

It is Francesca Jackson's first senior worlds. They leave on Monday with national coach Igor Ozerov.
